- The presence of termite swarms
Look for small winged insects which resemble ants. They may be inside or outside your home, and they indicate that a colony may be on the move.
- Mud tunnels
Termites travel through small tunnels of organic material.
- Termite damaged wood
This wood will seem hollowed out, porous, crumbly, and often damp.
